The stage was designed to fill a requirement to enable small festivals to have a standout centre piece that would have a performing area to satisfy most band sizes at an affordable price, by reducing labour for installation.

The stage measures 40ft x 20ft deep consisting of 25 ‘litedeck’ aluminium 8 x 4ft decks. There are a further 2 decks for a drum riser and 2 more for FOH or speaker stacks, 29 in total. There are several different leg lengths and adjustable feet to deal with uneven ground and braced by 10 aluminium 8ft and 8x4ft lite structure brace bars. 4 in 1 aluminium leg tops are also used with a lite structures aluminium 6 step set with handrail. 3 visible sides have covers which are also used for advertising.

The inflatable stage cover was purpose made with eyebrow for added weather protection. 6 ground anchors give it a 3-ton loading. 3 fans are supplied, 2 to inflate and 1 spare. The top has been tested by the manufacturer although not a requirement. A purpose-built aluminium roll box stores the cover and makes loading easier.

The frame inside the cover has 2 purposes, 1 to carry up to 100kg of lighting and 2 to support the cover in the event of a power failure. Again, purpose built by the company that built Glastonbury’s pyramid stage out of aluminium for ease of transport and handling. Structural engineer designed for safety. This locates in 4 corners of the stage with adapted litedeck.

The entire stage fits neatly onto 2 Ifor Williams trailers, both in excellent condition, that are available with covers.
